Tetramer Core Facility

Tetramer Program Description:
The NIH Tetramer Facility, established in 1999, provides custom synthesis and distribution of soluble MHC-peptide tetramer reagents that can be used to stain antigen-specific T cells. MHC/peptide tetramer reagents are produced at the NIH Tetramer Facility contract site located at Emory University. MHC Allele protein production, folding and quality control are free to approved investigators. All reagents are quality controlled and are labeled with commercially manufactured streptavidin-allophycocyanin or streptavidin-phycoerythrin fluorophores.

Link Between Tetramer Core Facility and TB Contact:
CSU and Emory University have a formal agreement to permit shipment of M. tuberculosis reagents from this contract, that cannot be synthesized, directly to the tetramer facility for generation and dissemination of M. tuberculosis product derived tetramers.

Ordering Instructions:
To request M. tuberculosis tetramers, please follow the instructions on the tetramer website. In addition, please send a brief research description regarding your request to Dr. Karen Dobos-Elder. Further information will be obtained as needed by either CSU, Emory University, or both.
