-Thanks to the efforts of The Gabriel Foundation, we've been able to provide our members with hands-on educational opportunites with a wide variety of parrot species. Additionally, they have supported the research and continuing education of our membership.
-An immense thank you goes to Dr. Jan Ramer at the Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project. Dr. Ramer was able to present her work to our membership live from Africa via Skype this year!
-Thanks to the generosity of the Colorado Reptile Humane Society, our members have had several hands-on educational experiences at the largest reptile rescue in the United States.
-Thank you to Dr. Kris Ahlgrim at the GoldenView Animal Hospital for her insights into exotic animal private practice. GoldenView also provides externship opportunities for veterinary students.
-We owe a great debt to the Denver Zoo for their long-standing committment to our efforts. In addition to presenting at our first meeting for several years running, they've also opened their doors to our members for a first hand look at their important work.
-Thanks to the Cheyenne Moutain Zoo in Colorado Springs, our members have been behind-the-scenes in a truly beautiful zoological park and had the chance to participate in a fantastic darting wetlab.
-Thank you to Dr. Cobus Raath at Wildlife Vets for visiting us all the way from South Africa, to give one of the best lectures ZMS has ever seen. Dr. Raath is deeply involved in both wildlife conservation and public health issues at the human/wildlife interface. Wildlife Vets also has several intern/extern positions available.
-Thanks so much to Dr. Bill Lance of Wildlife Pharmaceuticals not only for his ongoing support of our educational efforts, but for literally bring Dr. Cobus Raath to us!

-We owe a special thank you to both Andrew Enzweiler and Justin Finkelstein. Andrew is an animator/graphic designer who has graciously donated his artwork to ZMS, including our new logo. Justin is an entrepeneur/webdesigner who likewise did a great job on this website free of charge.
