Christina Ndaluka (cont.) - While she was a volunteer she played an integral part in designing, building and equipping a science teaching lab. This involved writing 2 major grants and using the local resources in the area. Christina remained in Namibia an extra year with World Teach (a volunteer organization run out of Harvard) to complete her projects. While she was in Namibia Christina met her future husband, Petrus Ndaluka who she married this last year in April. After Christina returned from Africa she worked at Orange Glo International, which helped her decide that she really wanted to be doing more research and less industry. She hopes to study virology and be able to use her knowledge internationally again.
