Tales from the Breeding Shed: Clinical Stories in Equine Reproduction

The goal of this book is to describe real-life clinical scenarios to horse owners, breeders, and students. The book is organized into sections on the open mare, pregnant mare, foaling and post-partum mare, foal, and stallion. Individual cases consist of a brief history, a physical examination or reproductive evaluation, treatment protocol or clinical outcome, and an educational summary. The stories are based on clinical cases managed at the Equine Reproduction Laboratory at Colorado State University.
