WEBMASTERS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

June 13, 2006

Present: Tom Harmon, Charlie Kerlee, Linda Tarnoff, Sallie Varner.
 

Tom Harmon began the meeting at 9:00 a.m.

New Business

  1. Redesign Update – the CVMBS redesign pages are nearly ready to go public.  Linda Tarnoff needs about 2 weeks to check everything out before we implement the new design.

  2. More Redesign Update - The department web masters have a soft deadline of the beginning of Fall semester 06' to finish their redesign.

  3. Google Search - Tom set up the Google search feature for the CVMBS pages.  He just needs to figure out how to insert the code so it is positioned in the green bar.  If you want to see how it works go to: http://www.cvmbs.colostate.edu/webmaster/redesign/cvmbs/search-test.htm

  4. In the News Section Changes with Redesign - Once we implement the new design the In the News section will initially be static and Tom will take over responsibility for keeping it updated.

The meeting concluded at 9:30 am.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 11 th, 9:00-10:00 am, W1 A/Z.
