The Behavior Club is a student chapter of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB). It is a veterinary student-run organization at Colorado State University. The club’s mission is to provide veterinary students with educational opportunities through lectures and hands-on experiences regarding animal behavior. The club does not focus on one particular species of animal, but rather provides behavior and training information for a variety of species including dogs, cats, horses, small ruminants, wildlife, pet birds, and small mammals.
The CSU Behavior Club is excited to have been chosen as the winner of the 2010 AVSAB Student Chapter Award! This award is given to a veterinary college student chapter in recognition of all the activities the club has hosted as well as behavior related activities of its members. For more information, visit the AVSAB Web site.
The club also provides the community with opportunities to learn about the behavior of their pets. This is accomplished through community speaking engagements, information on this website, and through the sale of training supplies and books.
We welcome you to the club’s website!
