The foster and veterinary staff from the Larimer Humane Society provided the audience with both general volunteer training and foster care training. For a new program, the first session was a huge success! 100% of the attendees signed up to become foster care parents. Additional volunteer and foster care training workshops are planned throughout the remainder of the year to provide students with plenty of opportunities to help with the care of shelter animals.
