Let ASV Help You Attend NAVC!
The Association of Shelter Veterinarians, with a grant from Maddie’s fund, will be sponsoring four scholarships to attend the North American Veterinary Conference January 19-23, 2008 in Orlando Florida. Two veterinarians and two students will be selected from the pool of applicants. All expenses will be paid- up to $1500 for each veterinarian and up to $1000 for each student. The following conditions must be met:
- The applicant must be a member in good standing of the ASV.
- The winners will be expected to attend the shelter medicine track on Tuesday January 22nd.
- The winners will be expected to write a short article for the ASV newsletter about their experiences at the conference or what they learned at the educational sessions.
- The goal is to grant funding for veterinarians whose employers do not provide CE benefits and would otherwise be unable to attend the conference. We ask that only those with a financial need apply.
- Any student member in good standing may apply.
- All receipts must be submitted to ASV for reimbursement.
If you are interested, please complete the application and submit to Mary Blinn, DVM by November 1st.
- Send to mblinn@cmpd.org or mail to 8315 Byrum Dr.
