Herd medicine isn't just for large animal vets! If you've ever had an interest in epidemiology, animal welfare, and shelter medicine, this is the club for you! Our club began in 2003 and was THE FIRST national student chapter of this organization! There are now multiple active student chapters forming across the country. The group meets regularly and sponsors educational speakers, hands-on wet-labs, and trips to local facilities. Visit the previous events section to view activities like a farm sanctuary tour and humane society visits. Key to the SCASV is the desire to learn while providing assistance to animals and organizations in need.
