  2. GRE Scores

Take the GRE General Test before September 28. The Verbal and Quantitative scores are required. Test scores earlier than October 1, 2007 will not be accepted. 3. VMCAS Application & Fee

Fill out an application using the Veterinary Medical College Application Service before October 2.

  4. Letters of Recommendation (VMCAS e-LORs and ETS PPI Report)

You will need to submit three completed VMCAS electronic Letters of Reference to VMCAS before October 2.

Colorado State University’s (CSU) veterinary admissions process requires the ETS® Personal Potential Index and will require you to also submit one ETS PPI Evaluation Report (to contain three recommendations) before October 2.

Important:   All applicants will need to request three recommenders to submit a VMCAS  e-LOR AND an ETS PPI web-based evaluation (for inclusion in the ETS PPI Evaluation Report). BOTH the VMCAS e-LORs and the ETS PPI Evaluation Report are required; therefore, applicants should ask their recommenders to write and submit the VMCAS e-LOR and the ETS PPI online evaluation.   For more details, please see ETS-PPI Instructions

  5. Colorado Supplemental Application & Fee

Complete the Colorado Supplemental Application before October 2. (See Application Procedures for details.)

  7. Transcripts

No transcripts should be submitted with your application. Only offered and alternate candidates will be required to mail one official transcript from each university attended. (See Application Procedures for details).

International Applicants

Additional steps are required for International applicants:

  1. Take the TOEFL examination

The TOEFL examination is required for all international applicants from a country whose primary language is not English. The minimum TOEFL score for unconditional admission is 550 (paper-based), 80(internet-based) or 6.5 (IELTS). Official scores must be submitted directly from the Educational Testing Service. Please have the testing center send official scores to CSU (University code=4075). Students are exempted from the TOEFL requirement if the official language of their country is English or they have recently earned a degree at an American university.

  2. All international transcripts of offered/alternate candidates must be processed through a Transcript Evaluation Service. Applicants should use the interpreted grades in filling out the list of courses and grades on the VMCAS Application.
