Dr. Mo Salman
Dr. Mo Salman, a Professor of Veterinary Epidemiology, Department of Clinical Sciences and Animal Population Health Institute, has been selected to serve a four-year appointment on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut, Federal Research Institute for Animal Health in Germany. He is the only U.S. member of the international board assisting the FLI in its present scientific work and developing perspectives for future focal areas.
The 15-member Scientific Advisory Board provides advice to FLI management regarding research and development, promotes contact between the FLI and other national and international scientists and institutions working in the same or related fields, and supports the FLI in research program development.
The Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut is an independent research entity that focuses on the health of farm animals and protection of humans from zoonoses. The Institute is within the German Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection.
