The Financial Services team is the steward of the College’s fiscal resources and the liaison between CVMBS departments and CSU Central Business & Financial Services. CVMBS Financial Services is committed to providing responsive, efficient, and cost effective financial expertise, support, and oversight to the College including financial accounting, budgeting, contract/grant accounting, cost accounting and training to College financial operations employees. We are the “go-to” people for CVMBS financial opportunities and issues.

2013 Budget Process

NCURA Workshop
The National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) will bring their two-and-a-half day Financial Research Administration Workshop to the CSU campus on June 4, 2012.
CVMBS Courier Information and Schedule

Fiscal Year End Approaching Quickly!
The 2012 fiscal year ends June 30, 2012. Make sure to stay current with the 2012 year-end closing schedule and attend necessary training sessions.
PPDA
Prior Period Distribution Adjustment (PPDA) is an adjusting entry is used to correct incorrect salary and wage entries (i.e., wrong account number, wrong amount). Get the details on correctly completing a PPDA.
