Research Interests

• Using active learning to augment undergraduate learning in large lecture microbiology courses.
• The study of Densonucleosis viruses, parvo viruses that infect mosquitoes, as possible vectors for creating transgenic mosquitoes. Research conducted in collaboration with Dr. Jon Carlson.
