Population Genomics

Welcome to the PGenome site. PGenome is a series of programs developed by Saul Lozano-Fuentes and William C. Black 4th. PGenome, created in C++, contain several tools to analyze genotype frequencies, linkage disequilibrium, association of individual nucleotides and of genotypes and power calculations of minimal allelic and genotypic effects.

PGenome was created to support the "Association Mapping of Segregating sites in the midgut Early Gene and Susceptibily to Dengue-2 virus in the mosquito Aedes aegypti by Norma Gorrochotegui-Escalante, Saul Lozano-Fuentes, Kristine E. Bennett, Barry J. Beaty and William C. Black IV" (submitted to Genetics) research.

The research was supported by grant R01-AI49256 and NIH Grant U01AI45430. Additional support, NIH Fogarty Center Training Grant D43 TW01130.
