Research Interests

Respiratory diseases of domestic animals have a significant economic impact worldwide from increased mortality, morbidity and cost of treatment. I am interested in the diagnosis, pathogenesis and surveillance of both viral and bacterial diseases of food producing animals. I also collaborate with scientists on a variety of research projects that require diagnostic laboratory or pathology support.

An additional interest is in diseases of animals participating in endurance sporting events, particularly long distance racing sled-dogs.
