The meeting will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2008 in conjunction with the Conference of Research Workers in Animal Diseases (CRWAD) meeting. The Project Directors (PD) meeting is the annual meeting where all program awardees supported by the NRI Animal Protection Program share information and explore collaborative opportunities. Attendance is open to all interested researchers.
There is no registration fee for this workshop, and it is open to the research community. However, if you are not an NRI awardee from 2006 and 2007 and plan to attend, please contact Leslie Gilbert to register. A custom Web site has been created by the Chicago Marriott Hotel for CRWAD attendees to reserve their hotel sleeping rooms. Guests can access the site to learn more about the event and to book, modify, or cancel a sleeping room reservation.
Attendees please note:
The custom link will direct you to the Marriott property's home page
and will have the CRWAD group code (crwcrwa is group
code for on-line form) already entered in the appropriate field. Just
make your sleeping room reservation by entering your arrival date to
begin the reservation process.

If you call the hotel (Toll-Free: 1-800-228-9290) to make your sleeping room reservation make sure you ask for the CRWAD group rate code "CRW" (group rate code for phone calls). Place your reservation by November 12, to secure a sleeping room under the CRWAD group rate. 2008 CRWAD Group Rate is $174 for a single/double room.
DO NOT send your CRWAD meeting registration payment to the hotel.
NOTICE: The Chicago Marriott may be sold out the nights of December 6 and 7, 2008. CRWAD has a block of rooms reserved, and you must make your reservations by November 12 to insure that you obtain a room before our block is released. When reserving your room by phone make sure you indicate your affiliation with the CRWAD in order to receive the special CRWAD group rate.
