Ian Orme

Congratulations to Ian Orme for receiving University Distinguished Professor status. The title is only conferred by CSU upon the most outstanding faculty members in the institution.

Jamie Everman

Congratulations to Jamie Everman for being chosen as MIP’s outstanding graduating undergraduate student for Spring 2009.

Researcher

William Wheat, Richard Titus and John Spencer have been awarded a $100,000 Grand Challenges Explorations grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The grant will support an innovative global health research project to develop a vaccine system that attacks the saliva of sand flies to prevent them from spreading infectious diseases like leishmaniasis.Read more about this important research.
