This hands-on workshop is created for those who know just enough to create these files types, but don't know how to take advantage of basic techniques to achieve small file sizes.
There will be an emphasis on PowerPoint and Photoshop techniques. Some experience with Photoshop and PowerPoint helpful.

Hands-on time in Photoshop exploring a new set of techniques and images, all different than last year's session, for example, how to add dramatic lighting after the photo is taken and filter effects to enhance skies in landscape shots. We'll explore a few ways to share your photos including full-screen slide shows, web photo galleries and a photo-grid-style poster layout technique, all done in Photoshop.
This is open to anyone who wants to learn to creatively alter their digital photos in Photoshop, from beginners to advanced. Especially for beginner consumer-end point-and-shoot digital camera users.

Elements Users: The majority of these techniques work the same in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, such as the capability to create the web photo galleries and the photo-grid-style poster layout. The slide show functions will be different - Elements is more like PowerPoint which many users find more intuitive, however Elements offers fewer choices for the photographic filters and special effects. If you like exploring some of the capabilities of the full-blown version of Photoshop and enjoy before-and-after techniques, you should find this session useful.
