CSU has recently bolstered its ongoing efforts to better connect the work of campus departments, schools, colleges and units to Denver to enhance the positive image of CSU and the work done by students and faculty. The goal is to build Denver alumni, donor and corporate relationships, create private and public sector partnerships, and elevate CSU’s presence and profile in Denver as a vibrant, productive and important teaching and research university.
All Denver activities involve people on the main CSU campus and can be directly connected to a program, school, college or expertise. Because Denver is the economic, alumni and legislative hub in Colorado, an initiative to build a strategic and consistent awareness effort with Denver corporations, foundations and alumni will measurably increase the involvement of the 70,000 people who have gone to CSU and now reside in metro Denver, as well as many thousands of others who have had no previous relationship with CSU.
Anyone interested in the positive impact Denver activities are creating, please contact Michele McKinney, michele.mckinney@colostate.edu for a status report of the activities in Denver. CSU values ideas and involvement and we are excited about what we can accomplish together.
