The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) invites you to attend the 10th Annual CVMBS Research Day on Saturday, Feb. 21.
The annual symposium provides a forum to showcase excellence in student research. In addition to highlighting research, the symposium provides an opportunity for local researchers and scientists to connect, enhancing collaborations and communication between basic and clinical researchers alike.
The symposium will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Fort Collins, located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Centre Drive and Prospect Road. The symposium will begin at noon, with a keynote speaker and the Pfizer Award address delivered by Dr. Elaine Carnevale. Poster and oral presentations in basic and clinical sciences by graduate students, veterinary students, veterinary residents and interns will follow.
Outstanding presenters of abstracts will receive awards of excellence at a ceremony following the general presentations. The Golden Pipetter will be awarded to the department with the greatest participation in the symposium. Last year, the Department of Clinical Sciences edged out the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology by one participant. The awards ceremony will be at 6:30 p.m.
