Pet Pain Seminar Scheduled for Sept. 30

Dr. Narda Robinson at Pet Pain SeminarDrs. Narda Robinson and Bonnie Wright of the Center for Comparative and Integrative Pain Medicine at Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences will host “Is Your Pet In Pain?,” a free seminar for pet owners to help evaluate whether or not their pet is experiencing pain and learn ways for treating pain associated with chronic illness or aging. The seminar will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 6-7:30 p.m., in Room 120 of the Animal Cancer Center at the James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Owners are invited to bring their pets to the seminar for evaluation, but must RSVP to Narda.Robinson@Colostate.edu or call (970) 297-4202. This seminar is the second in a series of pain medicine seminars offered by Drs. Robinson and Wright on a bimonthly basis. Future seminars may include such topics as feline pain problems, end of life issues, and cancer pain. Drs. Robinson and Wright may also address integrative medicine options such as massage, acupuncture, and other natural therapies.
