Construction Update

Construction in September 2008The entrance to the James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital and the adjacent parking lot will be closed at times from Sept. 2 through Nov. 28 for redesign and resurfacing. The appointment and emergency entrance to the hospital will be shifted during construction to Bay Farm Road, east of the VTH, which can be accessed off Drake Road between the power substation and railroad tracks. The entrance also can be accessed from Redwing Road. A map of the rerouted entrance is available at http://csuvets.colostate.edu/parking.htm.

The hospital's 24-hour emergency veterinary services will continue as normal, as will regular appointments. More information and detailed directions are available by calling the hospital at 970-221-4535.

Specific sections of the west parking lot of the Veterinary Medical Complex are being repaired to take care of ponding issues, with the entire lot scheduled to be seal coated and restriped to the correct spacing.

At the Diagnostic Medicine Center, exterior steel is complete and insulation is being applied with exterior cladding to come. The mechanical units are in place and interior duct work and framing are progressing. The area block walls for necropsy are under construction and breezeway walls are being insulated with brick to follow.
