Dr. Timothy Holt, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences, was selected by attendees at the 2008 Western Veterinary Conference as Continuing Educator of the Year for Equine Medicine and Surgery.
“Dr. Holt is an excellent large animal clinician and a remarkably effective educator,” said Dr. Lance Perryman, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, who presented Dr. Holt with the award. “He was selected by the graduating class of 2008 as their commencement speaker – a further indication of the esteem accorded him by students and practicing veterinarians throughout Colorado. We are very fortunate to have him as a member of our faculty.”
Award winners are selected at the Western Veterinary Conference, held in Las Vegas in February, by veterinarians attending the continuing education programs.
