Jason Callard, a student in the Professional Veterinary Medical Program and president of the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association at Colorado State University, received a scholarship to attend the 80th Annual Western Veterinary Conference (WVC) in Las Vegas. He appears here at the Student Scholarship Awards Breakfast with Dr. Jim Furman, President, and Dr. Ann Johnson, President-Elect of the AVMA, and Dr. Lance Perryman, Dean, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The WVC scholarship paid for Callard’s conference fees and associated costs and is given each year to one student representative from each veterinary school.
