New Vice President of Administrative Services Named
Dr. Tom Gorell, a member of the Colorado State University community for more than 30 years, has been named the new Vice President of Administrative Services. He currently holds the position in an interim capacity and most recently served as Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs.
Vice President Gorell has a strong record of accomplishment and success at Colorado State throughout his many years of service. Prior to his role as Vice Provost, he served as a Professor of Biology and Associate Dean in the College of Natural Sciences.
In his new role, Dr. Gorell will oversee Facilities Management, Human Resource Services, Central Receiving and Mail Services, Environmental Health Services, Training and Organizational Development, and Purchasing. He will continue to serve as a member of the Presidential Cabinet and report to the Provost's Office.
