Dr. Luke Wittenburg, a Fellowship Grant Trainee in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology, recently received the Veterinarians in Biomedical Research: Building National Capacity 2007 Young Investigator Award. Dr. Wittenburg was selected from a large number of veterinarians in training throughout the country to present his work at a national conference in Bethesda, Maryland, in August. He was one of six presenting finalists to receive the young investigator award.
