The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences has established a search committee and begun the process to identify, and evaluate candidates to serve as the Head of the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology (MIP). Faculty members are welcome to nominate candidates for the position to the committee as it begins its work.
The search committee is chaired by Dr. Terry Nett. Other committee members include Drs. Randy Basaraba, John Belisle, Dick Bowen, Susan Deines, Ed Hoover, Doreene Hyatt, Matt Zabel, Ken Olson, and Erin Napier. The committee has met and finalized the position announcement. Interviews are expected to take place in November with negotiations completed shortly thereafter. It is anticipated that a new Head of the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology will be in place on or before July 1, 2008.
