MIP Welcomes New Members

Andrew Keyser
Andrew KeyserAndrew Keyser joined the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology on January 16. He is a Research Associate I in the laboratory of Dr. Angelo Izzo. Keyser is assigned to the vaccine project and his primary responsibility is to assist in the testing of tuberculosis vaccine candidates.

Keyser graduated from Colorado State University with a major in biology and a minor in biomedical sciences. Prior to coming to work for CSU, he was employed at Paragon Analytics as a radiochemist. In his spare time, he enjoys rock climbing, soccer and homebrew beer.

Brad Berges
Brad BergesBrad Berges comes to Colorado State University from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a post-doc in the laboratory of Dr. Ramesh Akkina and is working on research projects housed at the laboratory, including investigations into the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).

Berges is a busy father with three children. He loves to play volleyball and lived in Brazil for two years. He speaks fluent Portuguese.
