USDA Training Grant Awarded
The Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology (MIP) has been awarded a $138,000 grant to create an Animal Infectious Disease Doctoral Training Program from the United States Department of Agriculture; Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service. The award will support the training of two pre-doctoral students for three years. Congratulations to the many department staff and faculty who contributed to this successful effort led by Dr. Jeffrey Willusz, Professor and Chair of MIP.
