Dr. Charles Calisher

Faculty Honors and Awards

Dr. Charles Calisher, a Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology, was elected as a Life Member of the International Committee on the Taxonomy of Viruses (ICTV) at the July 2005 meeting of the International Congress of Virology in San Francisco. Dr. Calisher joins an elite group of 11 virologists around the world who hold this distinction.
