Graduate Student Workshop Features Dr. Joan King

Dr. Joan King, author of “Cellular Wisdom,” professional certified coach and Professor Emeritus of the Tufts University School of Medicine, is the featured speaker at the College’s Graduate Student Workshop, “Directing Your Professional Career.”

The workshop is scheduled for Friday, March 4, 2005, 8 a.m.- noon, at the Lory Student Center North Ballroom. All graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty and staff are invited to attend.

Dr. King is a nationally acclaimed researcher and academician who now serves as a professional coach for scientists at every stage of their careers. Participants in this workshop will get hands-on instruction about directing their career in science towards success and personal fulfillment. There is no charge for the workshop, but participants must register by March 1. Register on-line at www.cvmbs.colostate.edu/workshop, or by calling 1-6188.

The Graduate Student Workshop is hosted by the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and by the Departments of Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, and Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences, and the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology.
