New Ultrasounds Bring Clearer Pictures to Equine Medicine

Equine patients at the James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital are the beneficiaries of two new ultrasound systems recently purchased for the hospital from SmartWorks, Inc. One system is a black and white portable with full digital beamformer and microanatomy imaging. The second system, the compact premium ultrasound, is a full-shared service color Doppler system.

SmartWorks also has made these systems available to Colorado State University alumni for a reduced price. With each purchase by an alum, SmartWorks, Inc., will make a contribution to vThe Hope, The Care, The Cures" campaign to support the South Campus expansion, and also to support continuing education courses at Colorado State University.
