Toxicology Research Symposium Highlights Research at Colorado State

The first Toxicology Research Symposium will be held in the Lory Student Center on April 28 and 29, and will highlight current molecular and environmental toxicology research at Colorado State. The symposium is sponsored by the Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences.

The symposium will feature short research presentations and posters from graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, as well as a keynote address by Dr. David Ross of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Ross is internationally known for his work in oxidative stress and anti-tumor quinine compounds.

For students looking beyond college, the symposium also will feature a student career forum that will include an interactive panel discussion with scientists from academia, the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, government and consulting laboratories.
