Undergraduate Research Celebrated at Annual Event, Judges Needed

The Celebrate Undergraduate Research and Creativity (CURC) Poster Event is being held on Tuesday, April 19, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Main Ballroom of the Lory Student Center.

Throughout the year, Colorado State University recognizes and honors the achievements of students in the areas of research and creativity. Students are invited to participate in a variety of events that will provide them an opportunity to showcase what they have learned through their research and creative activities. For the 2004-2005 school year, events will culminate in the CURC Showcase. This showcase event will feature outstanding performers and award winners from all disciplines.

Many students from CVMBS participate in this poster session and they appreciate the support of the College’s faculty and post-doc judges. This year, CURC is asking for volunteers to judge the event. Go to www.curc.colostate.edu to sign up as a judge.

Following the Showcase, an awards ceremony will be held to recognize all participants and present awards to winners from the various events. The Awards Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 20, in Yates Hall Room 104. Refreshments will be served from 4:15-4:30 p.m. with the ceremony to follow from 4:30-6 p.m.
