Phi Zeta Research Day Slated for January 24

The Society of Phi Zeta (the Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine) will host its annual CVMBS Research Day on Saturday, January 24, at the Lory Student Center. Sessions will take place in the Cherokee Room and Room 230 throughout the day, with posters exhibited in and a luncheon scheduled for the North Ballroom.

Dr. Virginia Schofield is the keynote speaker for the event and will present a lecture on "Retrovirus Transmissions to Cervicovaginal Cells: Mice, Primates and Humans," during the luncheon.

The Theta Chapter of the Society of Phi Zeta recognizes and promotes research and scholarship at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in the areas of animal welfare and disease.
