● Michelle A. Ozbun, PhD, (CSU B.S. 1987, Department of Microbiology,
minor in chemistry) was recently promoted to Associate Professor with
Tenure at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Dr. Ozbun
teaches graduate-level virology and infectious diseases. Her research
program at UNM focuses on human papillomaviruses as the causative agents
of many human cancers, including cervical cancer. She can be contacted
