Research Interests

Dr. Rosecrance has been a physical therapist for more than 20 years specializing in the treatment of occupational illnesses and injuries. Over the last 12 years, his work has focused on the prevention of occupation illnesses and injuries through ergonomics. He is a Certified Professional Ergonomist and has been a consultant in ergonomics to approximately 30 companies in the United States. Using ergonomic principles, he has worked successfully with many companies throughout the U.S. to reduce injuries, increase production efficiency, and improve the quality of products and services.

Dr. Rosecrance teaches graduate courses in ergonomics, performs research studies in occupational health, and provides consultation to companies for improving work practices. He has also participated in numerous educational seminars relating to ergonomics in the United States, Hungary, Italy, the Republic of Slovakia, and Malta. His area of research expertise is in the cause and prevention of work-related musculoskeletal disorders with a specific focus on carpal tunnel syndrome. His studies in this area have involved workers in many occupations including newspaper employees, construction workers, foundry employees, and dental hygienists.
