Follow-Up |

Follow-up Care Clients with pets treated with radiation therapy at Colorado State University will receive information regarding follow-up care from their attending veterinarian at the time of patients discharge. The recommendations will be specific for the pet and tumor type. In addition, the client will receive periodic phone calls or emails from Frank Conway (frank.conway@colostate.edu) or Channa Fuller (crfuller@colostate.edu) from the radiation oncology group. It is very important that we know if the tumor recurs or spreads to other parts of the body. It is also important for us to be aware of any side effects, especially those that may impact the quality of life of the patient. With this type of information, we will be able to better predict the treatment outcome of future patients. We love to hear how our patients are doing and enjoy getting pictures! Wed love to put some on our website! |
