Prerequisites to Veterinary School

MINIMUM PREPROFESSIONAL VETERINARY MEDICINE COURSE REQUIREMENTS COLLEGE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE AND BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES

Please see PREPROFESSIONAL COURSE REQUIREMENTS for a list of the minimum requirements, with descriptions of the courses at Colorado State University which fulfill those requirements.  At least 60 semester credits (excluding vocational and physical education courses) must be completed before admission to the professional program.  To convert quarter credits to semester credits, multiply by 0.67.  Most competitive applicants will have the equivalent of a bachelor's degree when they enter the professional program.  Additional upper division sciences are highly recommended.
