General tours of the Veterinary Medical Center are offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 4:00 PM at our facilities located at 300 West Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO . Alternatives to a physical tour is a virtual tour of the hospital provided on our web site. This may be appropriate for some who are challenged with extensive walking or who may be sensitive to particular odors or chemicals that commonly occur or are used in a large animal medical center. The virtual tour may also be good preparation for your actual in-person visit so you can ask questions or focus on particular elements.
Given biosecurity, liability, and operational issues associated with operating a full service medical center, we must restrict days and time of our offerings as stipulated; we must insist that any tour group member be in good general health (no suspected communicable diseases. We reserve the right to make a biosecurity judgment on our own authority that may exclude someone from a tour); we must limit the overall size of the tour group; we reserve the right to fill the tours on a first come-first served basis; and we must insist that any member of a tour group be 14 years of age or older.
Visitors who wish to schedule themselves for the general Veterinary Medical Center tour may call (970) 297-1269 to confirm a date for your tour.

Additionally, our annual Open House (offered each Spring see our main web site for details) offers any one the opportunity to visit the Medical Center when we have curtailed operations and have lifted the restrictions noted above. Large school groups, especially for younger folks, would be best served by our Open House activities. Other parties that may be well served by the Open House could include:
