CVMBS College Council Meeting Minutes

ASCSU Elections:

  • Elections for College Council positions will be held at our next meeting on Tuesday, April 4th.  Anyone who has been to 2 or more meetings is eligible to run and vote.  All interested qualifying members are welcome to run and vote.
  • Positions that will be voted on include: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary/Webmaster, UTFAB representative, ASCSU/Senate representatives, and UFFAB representative
  • Side note to think about for updating the Constitution next year; if we are going to continue to have an UFFAB representative, we should make note of it in our Constitution.  Of course, this is based off of the prospect of someone wanting to be an UFFAB rep.

 

Proposals:

  • Dr. Blehm $3532 for EH 230 & 350, Sound Level Meters, calibrator, case, and balometer
  • Jim Linden $200 for MB436 & BH306, Maintenance on fermentors
  • Dr. Suchman $434 for MB300, Glow Germ Kits & gel
  • Dr. Smith $4000 for Micro A206 projector
  • Vader-Lindhom $2046.50 for BS302, Intelitool Equipment & BP Monitors
  • Susan Deines $600-1100 ($1050) for computer lab supplies

 

These are the current proposals that we have, we have extended the due date until our next meeting on April 18th.  These proposals all look good, but we will do final approvals at the next meeting.

 

Senate Report: (Katrina Aspnes) kaspnes@simla.colostate.edu

  • Elections went smoothly with Jason & Sadie wining the Pres/VP
  • Katrina Aspnes & Robert Sons  were elected for their Senator positions
  • Thanks to everyone who voted
  • NOTE: Anyone can attend Chambers meetings on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm.

  • A library proposal for 15 new laptops is in the works
  • Non-general classroom upgrades are going through.  Three classrooms per college at $6,000 each for a total of $72,000 has been approved.
  • Meetings are Mondays at 4:10 in Weber 202.
