Bleeding
Possible Causes: HBC, animal fight, severe wound, rat poisoning, bleeding disorder

Action Steps:

• Arterial bleeding is life-threatening.
  Compression bandage.  Immediate veterinary attention.

• Direct pressure over the wound with a clean cloth or sterile gauze for 5 - 7 minutes.

• Do NOT apply a tourniquet unless absolutely necessary.
