Description: 

This laboratory is designed for participants with experience in minimally invasive surgery. Advanced minimally invasive procedures will be described in the lectures followed by a laboratory on live dogs.  Anesthesia related to minimally invasive surgery (one lung ventilation) will be presented by a board certified anesthesiologist. Procedures described and performed in the laboratory will be laparoscopic assisted gastropexy, laparoscopic assisted cystoscopy, adrenalectomy, gallbladder resection, partial lung lobectomy, pericardial window, and thoracic duct ligation.
