This course will cover the different options available for exodontia in horses. Day one will focus on local anesthesia and sedation, selecting the appropriate extraction technique based on the diagnosis of underlying pathology, a step-by-step approach to intra-oral extractions, and an introduction to the minimally invasive trans-buccal extraction (MTE). Day two will include practical training for the MTE, as well as minimally invasive repulsions and intra-oral segmentation of cheek teeth. Both days will have wetlabs covering detailed anatomy and hands-on practice of all 4 techniques.

Registration and Cancellation Information:
Pre-registration is required. Courses are subject to cancellation when registration is inadequate to cover costs of the program. Registration at least six weeks before the course will help prevent cancellation. Course fee is payable to Equine Specialties. Fee includes proceedings, materials, supplies, refreshments and lunch.
Cancellations and Refunds:
Registration fees are fully refundable until 60 days prior to the course, 50% refundable between 60 and 30 days prior to the course and non-refundable after 30 days prior to the course. Fees will be refunded 100% at any date if vacated spot can be filled.
