76th Annual Conference for Veterinarians - April 18-19, 2015

Plans are underway for the 76th Annual Conference for Veterinarians! Dr. Edward Hoover from the CSU Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology will be the Keynote speaker in 2015. Dr. Hoover, who was recently inducted into the National Sciences Foundation for his work on the first successful FeLV will present a talk on "History of FeLV and FeLV vaccination."

This event will take place at the Fort Collins Hilton, 425 West Prospect Road. Reserve your room today!


General small animal, livestock medicine and equine theme – Emergency and Critical Care
  • Two additional streams for small animal and one additional theme for equine
  • Three outside speakers (equine, small animal, livestock medicine) on Saturday and Sunday
  • Twenty CSU veterinarians presenting the newest and greatest information
  • Four late breaking research reports
  • Keynote address by Dr. Edward Hoover – History of FeLV vaccines
  • All class reunion at the Diagnostic Medicine Center Saturday night (included with Annual Conference registration)
  • Veterinary student musical group ‘Tit for Tat’ will perform at the all class reunion


Dr. Sheila McGuirk will be our featured speaker for Livestock Medicine. Dr. McGuirk is a Professor of Large Animal Internal Medicine and Food Animal Production Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. More info coming soon!

EQUINE (Invited Speaker)

Dr. Thomas Divers is a Steffen Professor of Veterinary Medicine and Section Chief of Large Animal Medicine at Cornell University. More info coming soon!

SMALL ANIMAL (Invited Speaker)

Dr. Elizabeth Rozanski will be our guest speaker for our Small Animal track. Dr. Rozanski is an Associate Professor at Tufts University. She is board certified in both internal medicine and emergency and critical care. More info coming soon!

Registration and Cancellation Information:

Pre-registration is required for all veterinary continuing education conferences. Courses are subject to cancellation when registration is inadequate to cover costs of the program. Registration at least six weeks before the course will help prevent cancellation. Course fee is payable to Colorado State University. Fee includes proceedings, materials, supplies, refreshments and in some cases, lunch. Please see course schedules for more information.

Cancellations and Refunds:

Registration fees are fully refundable until 60 days prior to the course, 50% refundable between 60 and 30 days prior to the course and non-refundable after 30 days prior to the course. Fees will be refunded 100% at any date if vacated spot can be filled.
