The center was established in 1998, with the assistance of Karl Storz Veterinary Endoscopy, for training veterinarians and developing techniques in minimally invasive surgery and diagnostics. INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOSIntroduction to Laparoscopy. This DVD covers the basic laparoscopic instrumentation and the technique of laparoscopy. Also included are liver, pancreatic and kidney biopsy techniques. Laparoscopic Assisted Surgery. This DVD includes instrumentation and the laparoscopic assisted techniques for intestinal biopsy, feeding tube placement, gastropexy, cystoscopy with calculi removal, ovariectomy and ovariohysterectomy. Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. This DVD covers basic flexible endoscopic equipment, set up and demonstration of upper and lower GI endoscopy. Biopsy sample collection and handling will be covered. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDSRegistration fees are fully refundable until 60 days prior to the course, 50% refundable between 60 and 30 days prior to the course and non-refundable after 30 days prior to the course.
