Courses > Endoscopy >Multipurpose Rigid EndoscopyThis is an introductory rigid endoscopic course using the 2.7mm multipurpose rigid endoscope. The course will teach basic applications of rigid endoscopy that can be used daily in a small animal practice. Participants will learn how to perform rhinoscopy, laryngoscopy, cystoscopy, vaginoscopy and bronchoscopy (using a flexible bronchoscope). The lecture portion will cover the indications, instrumentation, endoscopic techniques and case examples. Transurethral collagen injection will also be presented. During the 4-hour hands on laboratory the participants will become competent in cystoscopy, rhinoscopy and evaluation of the respiratory tree taught in the lectures. Technicians can attend lectures and observe in the laboratory. 8 hours of continuing education credit. Registration is limited.
REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION INFORMATIONPre-registration is required for all veterinary continuing education conferences. Courses are subject to cancellation when registration is inadequate to cover costs of the program. Registration at least six weeks before the course will help prevent cancellation. Course fee is payable to Colorado State University. Fee includes proceedings, materials, supplies, refreshments and in some cases, lunch. Please see course schedules for more information. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDSRegistration fees are fully refundable until 60 days prior to the course, 50% refundable between 60 and 30 days prior to the course and non-refundable after 30 days prior to the course. Fees will be refunded 100% at any date if vacated spot can be filled.
