Courses > Endoscopy >Flexible GI EndoscopyThe course is designed for veterinarians that want to learn GI endoscopy. Four hours of lecture will cover instrumentaion, techniques, and common endoscopic abnormailities given as case examples. Techniques presented include esophagoscopy, gastroscoscopy, duodenoscopy and colonoscopy. Specific procedures such as foreign body removal, PEG feeding tube placement, esophageal stricture management and biopsy methods taught. During the 4-hour hands on laboratory each participant will have enough scoping time to become familiar with upper GI endoscopy, biopsy techniques and foregin body removal. There will be three participants per dog and each person will have the opportunity to endoscope two different dogs. Technicians may also register to attend the lecture, observe in the laboratory and will learn basic endoscopic equipment care.
REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION INFORMATIONPre-registration is required for all veterinary continuing education conferences. Courses are subject to cancellation when registration is inadequate to cover costs of the program. Registration at least six weeks before the course will help prevent cancellation. Course fee is payable to Colorado State University. Fee includes proceedings, materials, supplies, refreshments and in some cases, lunch. Please see course schedules for more information. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDSRegistration fees are fully refundable until 60 days prior to the course, 50% refundable between 60 and 30 days prior to the course and non-refundable after 30 days prior to the course. Fees will be refunded 100% at any date if vacated spot can be filled.
