The course teaches the basic principles of equine arthroscopy.

Arthroscopic (2) - Advanced Arthroscopic Surgery (Equine)- August 16-17, 2018 - Registration is OPEN

This totally revamped arthroscopic surgery course was previously given in 2013 with a renewed practical format, including four laboratories to give optimal practical information on how to do advanced arthroscopy and with particular emphasis on approaches for internal fixation of fractures in the carpus and fetlock, new arthroscopic techniques in the femoropatellar and femorotibial joints, advanced arthroscopic surgery of the hock and important tenoscopic surgical techniques as well as bursoscopy. There will be lots of hands-on instruction with plenty of top level instructors to help as the key issues. The course is headed by the authors of the third edition, and upcoming fourth edition of Diagnostic and Surgical Arthroscopy in the Horse by Drs. McIlwraith, Nixon and Wright, and assist-ed by Drs. Frisbie, Kawcak and Goodrich of CSU. Dr. Frisbie is also going to lead a separate course on July 30th on the new standing stifle diagnostic arthroscopy technique that he has pioneered.

This course teaches the basic principles of equine arthroscopy and will provide detailed instruction on arthroscopic techniques at the advanced level.

Arthroscopic (4) - Diagnostic Stifle Course: Ultrasound & Standing Arthroscopy (Equine) - August 18, 2018 Registration is OPEN

If there are things you are unsure of in diagnosing stifle disease, this one-day course features both didactic and wet-lab settings dedicated to the equine stifle by an internationally recognized faculty. Participants can expect to leave the course with an in-depth knowledge of all the latest diagnostic techniques of the equine stifle and the ability to perform complete ultrasound, radiographic and diagnostic arthroscopy of the equine stifle.
