Faculty and staff of the Department of Biomedical Sciences head and participate
in both intra- and extramural research programs. These include two university
Programs of Research and Scholarly Excellence, the Animal
Reproduction and Biotechnology Laboratory (ARBL) and the Program
in Molecular, Cellular and Integrative Neurosciences (MCIN). Research
at the Equine Reproduction Laboratory, which is an ARBL program, is conducted
by researchers from the Department of Biomedical Sciences, along with faculty
from the Departments of Animal Sciences and Clinical Sciences.
